This course is designed to help students understand the fast innovation strategies that lay the foundation for the sustained competitiveness of US manufacturing industry. Through this course, student will learn service differentiation, fast innovation process, and disruptive innovation. Students will also learn how the design process and fast innovation project management are conducted by dispersed international engineering teams. Innovation processes, oral communication, entrepreneurship, written documentation in direct response to customer desires, and professional behavior across corporate and social cultures are stressed.
